Joe Howley
Fitness Director
Joe spent 13 years as a police officer and detective in Middleboro, but left law enforcement to pursue his passion for sports, nutrition, and fitness. Over the past twelve years, he has been an owner, senior manager and consultant in fitness, sports nutrition and wellness industries. He has studied strength conditioning and personal training through NSCA, and has held positions as a personal trainer, general manager and director of sales for several prominent health clubs. Joe is an out of the box thinker when it comes to understanding and excecuting successful fitness programs, and his driving passion is to help members achieve results.
Fernando Bent-Mullings
Personal Trainer
"Fern" is a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association. He has been at Raynham Athletic Club for years and loves it! Besides training he is also an aerobics instructor and teaches a fantastic cycling class. If you are looking to get rid of a few pounds, no matter how big or small you are, or if you just need someone there to keep you motivated, Fern is willing to help you reach your goal. Although there will be pain involved in getting in shape, Fern will tell you, "no pain, no gain".
Shaun Nye
Personal Trainer
Shaun wants to make all your fitness dreams come true! Whether you are striving to lose weight, build muscle, or just live a healthier lifestyle, Shaun is the trainer for you. Determined by your current fitness levels, and your goals, Shaun will custom design a fun and effective exercise routine using various methods and techniques. Shaun is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a BA in Physical Education, and got certified through ACE. Nothing makes him happier than helping his clients reavh their goals quickly and safely. Shaun also teaches an evening bootcamp on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Shaun is always around the club and is willing to answer any questions you have, but he has one for you; are you ready to start the journey to a better you?
Kristen Rego
Personal Trainer
Kristen grew up playing soccer and softball in highschool and did competive gymnastics as a child. She earned her BS in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She has 2 main passions in life: she really enjoys helping others meeting their health and lifestyle goals, and she also enjoys developing young athletes to reach their full potential by them to develop their core, agility, explosive power, and strength. She has coached soccer, T-ball, and instructional league for over 5 years. She also taught BlueFish swim lessons for 2 years. She has helped many RAC tri-athletes with their swim strokes and race preparations. Somewhere in the mix she became and personal trainer, and she currently has has both CFL1 and CrossFit Football certifications. If you don't know what CrossFit is you need to come see her ASAP! Your work-out will never be the same.
Kellie Dorsey
Personal Trainer
Kellie Dorsey is a personal trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. She teaches Cycle on Thursday mornings, Corpbasics on Tuesday nights and Bodypump on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. She has her B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Bridgewater State College, and has been in the fitness industry for over 14 years. She enjoys running, chatting it up with her girlfriends, and spending time with her family. She’s married, and has three beautiful daughters. Stop her and say “hello”…she’d love to help you tackle your fitness goals!
Lecia Dipetro
Fitness Trainer
Lecia is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. She also played basketball there for 4 years and won the award for Model Teammate where she led her team to first place in MASCAC.
Lecia has been an Assistant Coach for basketball at Dean College, and designed their Strength and Conditioning program. She was also a student trainer for the women’s Lacrosse team.
You have probably seen Lecia at the pool lifeguarding or smiling at the front desk helping members. She enjoys doing CrossFit with Kristen, and staying physically active. Currently Lecia is planning on getting her Doctorates in Physical Therapy. Say hi to Lecia she is always around the gym to help you out!
Colleen Needham
Aerobics Instructor
Colleen began group exercise classes about 20 years ago. She managed the former Lady's Choice Fitness Center in Taunton for 10 years, where she began her teaching and training. She began teaching here at the RAC for the last 3 years. Her classes include: muscle conditioning, cycle, and Bodypump. She is also one of our personal trainers. She lives with her husband Tim and kids Ali and Jack.
Jackie Stark
Zumba Instructor
Jackie has been a Zumba Instructor since 2009 and every class is like a party! She teaches every age group from 3-93! She teaches regular adult Zumba on Tuesday and Thursday nights and Kids Zumba on Tuesday afternoons. She is also available for kids birthday parties. Jackie is also our Membership Director and can help you with all your membership needs! When she is not at RAC she is enjoying spending time with her new husband and and puppy.
Mary Beth Dube
Aerobics Director / Instructor
Mary Beth has been instructing for over 25 years and has been teaching at RAC for most of her career. She has been the director for over 12 years. Mary Beth is certified through AFAA and is CPR certified. She loves teaching group exercise and also enjoys working with seniors to help them stay active. She has been married for over 36 years and has 2 children and is a very proud Nana!
Matt Furtado
Fitness Trainer
Matt recently graduated Bridgewater State University with a degree in Physical Education with a concentration in exercise science where he also played ice hockey. He also enjoys sports in general, hanging out with his friends, and working out. He is excited to help people on the path to improving their lifestyle and is passionate and up beat about what he does. Stop by and say hello, he is always around to help!
